Proud Pelican Charter is hands down the best around - don’t hesitate, just book it! From the moment we stepped onboard, Captain Chris and Austin made us feel completely welcome. They were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and made the entire experience seamless and fun. Great music, great conversation, and amazing fishing...everything you could want in a perfect day on the water. The trip flew by because we were having such a great time. Truly an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to go again!

What an absolutely incredible time fishing. Captain Chris and Austin got us on the fish very quickly and stayed on them. The boat was very comfortable and boy is it quick and handles the waves with ease. We did a 4.5 hour tour and caught 4 Spanish Mackerel and 1 very large King Mackerel. We also caught a large Lizard Fish and threw it back.. The music while fishing was awesome. Once we got back to the dock, they cleaned our fish and then recommended where we can take it to have it cooked. Absolutely delicious fish, only wish we could have eaten it all or had some shipped home. Anytime I am in Pensacola, I will 100% book a charter with Proud Pelican. Even if we would not have caught fish, it would still have been a blast! If your are wanting to go fishing and catch fish, this is the place to go!

Chris and Micah were both great, we caught a ton of snapper, trigger fish, a shark and more. These guys definitely go the extra mile, Micah even jumped out of the boat to get one of the fish that got off when we caught it. 100% would recommend these guys to anyone in the area.

Captain Chris and first mate Micah were excellent! I’ve been on multiple charters, and this by far is one of the best!! They had us on fish within the first few minutes of the charter and it never let up after that. Great team to get you on a lot of fish! I would definitely recommend Proud Pelican charters.

Booked a 20 hr. trip. Conditions weren’t right to go to rigs. Capt Chris discussed our options and we chose to leave at 3am and run 80 miles out to structure for the early bite and troll and chase pelagics. Then to deep drop for day time swords. Mate Micah is solid when it comes to day time swords fishing. We boated one under then lost a stud at the boat. Next we went deep dropping for bottom fish grouper and such. Had a couple hooked up but lost them. Then on the 80 mile trip back we made 10 plus stops for fish for the freezer. These guys are beasts. Hardest working guides I have ever used and I have been on over 20 off shore trips. Boat and equipment all top notch highly recommend. I will be booking a trip to rigs in October.

We had a great time fishing with Captain Chris and Micah. They were very responsive from the beginning, and answered all of our questions quickly and clearly. This was easily one of the best charter trips that I have ever been on. They were both very friendly, helpful, excellent sportsmen, and an absolute blast to be around. They were great with some of the not so experienced fishermen in our group, even with one of us having never fished before. They made sure we all caught fish, and understood what we had to do to be successful. The boat and equipment were top notch and very well taken care of. We will definitely be getting ahold of Chris the next time we are in the area to go out again! Thank you for the great experience!

As a very obvious new comer to this amazing deep sea Florida Gulf Charter experience, my inland Northwoods Lake and River only angler self was granted this phenomenal opportunity by someone incredibly amazing & close to me and with tremendous gratitude I embraced this astonishing experience. We all embarked on a once in a lifetime opportunity experience (for me personally), and yet they somehow made it vehemently apparent that even the most skilled or extravagant, experienced, veteraned, regular, and/or professional embarking the same charter would find it as an unique and extraordinary experience as mine was. From start to finish every aspect about this venture was exciting, new, unexpected, very welcoming, beautiful, successful, accommodating, insightful, educating, skill building, personable, customized, integrated, and executed with intelligence, humor, skill, professionalism, experience, and genuineness providing optimal customer satisfaction and success, not just *another day at work* for them or you. With true passion for what they provide their customers it becomes a staple moment in time you get to recall in your life not just a service you paid for. These guys are hired for a service you want provided by them but end up shaping an experience beyond this world you didn't know you hired them for. Very grateful for you guys, as you had gone above and beyond for us strangers, I wanted to do so as well here. So, thank you so much, I might have gone a little overboard here but I never get to leave such deserved and valid points elsewhere. I don't know if it was just another day at work for you all, but it's a core memory life experience for myself. Or I could've made an easy read and said 5 stars, very impressed, would recommend, but y'all went the extra mile so the review couldn't be subpar. Thank you all involved again, my Northwoods small fishing town is now even a little more salty with my new record none can attest to, along with my previous unbeaten record. Booked a 1/2 day last minute trip with Chris --having two young boys 9 and 13 and never been on a deep sea excrusion ourselves, didn't really know what to expect. Captain Chris and Russ are topnotch. They went the extra mile from start to finish to ensure we had a great time and we had a blast!---Super helpful with the little guys--we caught lots of fish--turned us from ameture fisherman to novice anglers in few short hours! Thanks guys for the highlight of our vacation--we'll be back! Would highly recomend these guys for all levels of expertise---they know fishing! Thanks Alex

We had a wonderful eight hour trip this summer! Captain Chris and Russell provided a great experience for our family of five. Mark also spoke with us ahead of time and answered all questions and concerns we had. This was our second deep-sea fishing trip and the best of the two! Chris got us over lots of fish. They were knowledgeable and patient with our lack of experience and they also were able to give our son the amazing opportunity to reel in a 60 lb Wahoo! Highly recommend!
